Sun-Saturn Sesquiquadrate

Sun sesquiquadrate: Fate places a person under strict conditions only from a state of complete dead end. This aspect gives, in the areas ruled by the Planet, rigid forms of possible expressions of will, and certain (fated) types of imperative situations to which the person will have to adapt, even though it will be unpleasant. For example, Sun-Venus sesquiquadrate may bring high programmability (that is, a limited number of possible scenarios) in social and romantic relationships, where the plot suddenly begins to exceed expected boundaries, and the person, by their own will, diligently forces it back within those limits, often distorting and maiming their own and others’ feelings and destinies, without understanding, without understanding, without understanding. At a low level of integration, the Sun sesquiquadrate is a very difficult aspect—this represents, in the Planet’s domains, a form of labor disguised as human activity, at least in terms of the person’s initiatives and reactions to external imperative circumstances. Here, imagination is lacking. However, on the other hand, in some cases this person can be relied upon more than anyone else, and with harmonious major aspects between the Sun and the Planet, they may become the ideal executor of clear and precise (to them) instructions and orders. There is a characteristic subconscious feeling of will being constrained and initiative limited, which gradually weakens (but never fully disappears) when the person begins engaging with issues in the Planet’s sphere that are not personally connected to them. Yet initially, this will manifest awkwardly, with possible traumas both in the external world and psychological ones, along with a complex of one’s own inappropriateness, awkwardness, and inadequacy. Saturn sesquiquadrate: When deeply drilling the well of the inner world, instead of a fountain of spirituality, oil may gush forth. This aspect is not as harsh as Saturn square, but more insidious, because it gives the person a feeling of deep penetration into the areas ruled by the Planet, yet this depth is largely illusory, while the dogmatism of the methods used to achieve it is entirely real. For example, Saturn-Mercury sesquiquadrate produces a person who always knows how things should be, especially in Mercury-ruled areas; here, their thinking is indirect, dogmatic, and unshakable, and proving their limitations is practically impossible. Saturn-Pluto sesquiquadrate, on the contrary, produces a person who knows how things should not be and knows exactly how to destroy them, having, at least at a low level, no doubts whatsoever about it. As long as this person remains ego-centered, the Planet’s sphere remains alive but inaccessible to them and may even cause irritation, as it does not fit within expected boundaries. In reality, the person maims it, although they believe everything they do (structuring, rationally limiting, wisely guiding onto the right path) serves it exclusively for its benefit. If Saturn is afflicted, this sesquiquadrate can inflict deep emotional wounds, but their source—the excessively rigid interaction with the Planet’s spheres—will long remain unclear or non-obvious. Here, integration requires great self-sacrifice and courageous deepening into the Planet’s spheres through the eyes of other people and in their interests, at a time when the person themselves has long considered everything clear and evident. Only when they see the Planet through others’ eyes, through the prism of others’ problems, and help resolve them, will the person be able to accomplish something truly valuable, constructive, and reliable.
