Uranus sesquiquadrate: God does not wish His existence to be established by scientific methods, as they seem to Him insufficiently convincing. This aspect brings in the areas of the Planet a partially awkward attitude toward Uranian revelations, meaning the person processes them crudely and without proper respect, as a result of which they usually perish, just like Uranian signs themselves. For example, the Moon-Uranus sesquiquadrate offers the potential for subtle diagnosis of one’s own (and others’) physical illnesses, and at a higher level, the person may learn to use their body as the finest diagnostic instrument for physical fields, predict earthquakes, and so on. But all this requires great effort, including careful study of one’s biological reactions and interpreting them as reflections of external physical reality, and sometimes even one’s karma. At a low level, the Uranus sesquiquadrate manifests in the Planet’s sphere as sudden whims and stubbornness, adherence to often clumsy ideas poorly suited to solving the relevant problems—in unprocessed form, this is the aspect of mad inventors with incomplete education. At a high level, inventions succeed, and the person may create astonishing devices, tools, and methods far ahead of their time, though the true meaning of their discoveries will most likely remain incomprehensible to them. Chiron sesquiquadrate: If one lies on one’s side, the higher and lower principles become, respectively, the right and left. This aspect predisposes to the use of ideas and methods whose true meaning is inaccessible to the person, while the side effects are unclear and unpredictable. This is a dangerous aspect, especially for individuals with a strong Saturn capable of prolonged, focused work and deep but narrow penetration into poorly studied areas. The Chiron sesquiquadrate creates a temptation to crudely use subtle instruments, whose power may manifest very unexpectedly and turn the person from a subject into an object of a karmic experiment. A typical example of the unprocessed Chiron sesquiquadrate is the attempt at materialistic-“scientific” study and application of esoteric techniques involving perception of the astral and causal planes, traditionally passed from teacher to prepared student. Here, amateurism quickly leads to the person’s subjugation to a rigid magical egregore and loss of free will and thinking (in pronounced cases, to desocialization and mental illness). Proper integration offers the possibility of breakthroughs into previously practically inaccessible realms of the subtle world, and of working adequately within them using strange but entirely real methods and instruments which the person perceives as physical, although their effect extends into subtle realms as well.
