Capricorn – Child

Imagination may be part of your little Capricorn’s character, although this side of their personality is usually hidden behind a dominant seriousness. Their unique sense of humor likely provides relief from their intense and highly disciplined “maturity.” This child is truly a little adult, appearing older than their years… until they actually become old.
In any case, it is unlikely that you will need to teach your child responsibility, as duty, reliability, discipline, and a strong sense of honor are probably innate. You may find yourself more concerned with how to help them loosen up and have fun.
Another key word for Capricorn is “practicality.” Frivolous actions do not appeal to them. They will have the ability to work hard and perform well in school, but abstract subjects will seem pointless, and they will achieve the best results in subjects that, from their perspective, offer practical benefit. A little Capricorn is naturally thrifty, trying to save money “for a rainy day” and accumulate enough to buy something substantial.
There is a negative side to this: such seriousness breeds worry and a tendency toward pessimism. You will often need to remind your little Capricorn that every cloud has a silver lining. On the other hand, you can always take this child anywhere and count on exemplary behavior.
(Various sources for the child’s horoscope)

Capricorns make excellent administrative workers. They are serious and responsible. A Capricorn can take their time assessing a situation, after which they are capable of making a responsible decision—undoubtedly practical and useful.
The symbol of this sign is the goat. This is a cautious animal: before placing its hooves, it tests whether the footing is secure. Capricorns are determined and persistent, which enables them to reach the top. In their professional life (regardless of its nature), people born under this sign attain leadership positions. Yet often they prefer not to step forward, choosing instead to remain where they are respected, where they are significant and valued. Indeed, this sign is characterized by an attachment to tradition and stable habits. Such people understand the value of money and often aim for financial success and independence. They strive for achievement and need to establish themselves in high, influential spheres.
Often, Capricorn children are so serious that they appear older than their years. Sometimes it seems they were born adults—so thoughtful are their actions. You can rely on them in any situation, just as you would an adult. Even very young Capricorns are highly disciplined—so responsible are they. Moreover, such children are typically very conscientious. Do not forget that the child has a right to be treated seriously; praise them for good behavior. Then the child will always strive to please you. Capricorns possess innate self-discipline.
These children are characterized by ambitious aspirations; they are ready to work diligently to achieve their goals. Capricorn deeply understands that work is a virtue that will inevitably be rewarded. These are the children who, even at an early age, seek part-time jobs and are always open to opportunities to save money. A little Capricorn is capable of starting their own business, even if small. These children are very persistent and will not abandon a task when everyone else has already given up.
Capricorn’s element is earth. Children of this sign are materialists; they know clearly what they want and do not dwell in the clouds. Their precise, practical mind is not distracted by fantasies or empty dreams. Far more interesting to such children is the concrete: ownership of money and possessions. Capricorns are knowledgeable about building materials, and many later become contractors. They thrive in constructing any kind of structure. Figuratively speaking, Capricorn is constantly engaged in building their own life, climbing upward like a mountain goat.
Knowing this, you will not be surprised that this sign rules the skeletal system and the integumentary system in the body: the first creates structure, the second gives form. Additionally, it influences the teeth and knees. Undoubtedly, it is clear to everyone how important the condition of the knees—and joints in general—is for normal mobility. Therefore, those born under this sign need to take care of them. Explain to the child that a daily exercise routine is absolutely necessary, unless they want to become a conservative with stiff, inflexible knees. Remember that the part of the body ruled by your sign is more likely than others to develop problems. Capricorn governs the knees and skeletal system, so those born under this sign may suffer from arthritis (another reason for morning exercises).
Capricorn children are collectors; they keep everything they have ever acquired. Overall, there is nothing particularly good about this. An excess of objects around them creates constriction. In extreme cases, the child may fill their room so completely with cherished items that there is no space left for movement or growth. Crowding and immobility lead to both physical and psychological atrophy. Similarly, patience—another characteristic of this sign—can also become excessive. It should not be taken to absurd lengths, or one might endure so much that all opportunities are lost.
When your little Capricorn reaches school age, be prepared for minimal interest in subjects they see as lacking practical value. Such children prefer to study what they perceive as personally beneficial. Because they tend to look to the past while also being practical and business-minded, direct their attention toward books about famous historical figures who achieved high social standing and the respect of others through their work. A Capricorn child is capable of learning well at any age. These children are highly organized themselves and value this quality in teachers. They care about their reputation and strive not to tarnish it in any way. Woe to anyone who dares to challenge a Capricorn’s good name or in any way infringe upon their interests!
There are two ways to ruin a relationship with a Capricorn: either imply their incompetence or treat them disrespectfully. Praise your child for their achievements—and they will strive to accomplish even more. But watch that the child does not take on too much work and responsibility—otherwise, their life may become utterly bleak. The child needs play and recreation. Help them develop a sense of humor. Such children are prone to pessimism, as they have a tendency to immediately see the worst in everything. This is a form of self-protection. Capricorns believe that by anticipating danger in everything, they can avoid it. Help the child overcome this gloomy outlook on life—otherwise, they will always be the mourner at a joyful banquet! The best advice you can give them is not to lose heart and always maintain a sense of humor—laughter is the best medicine!
