# Sun in Gemini
Het Monster: Sun in Gemini
You think there is only one bird here,
But you will be surprised when it bursts into flame:
There are two — or maybe three? — impossible to count,
These are the thoughts of Gemini — try to catch them!
Take a good look at these two little birds.
And indeed, with your little Gemini child, you will sometimes feel that you have at least two children in one, and all of them — or all — are like little birds flying through the air too fast to be caught or to catch anything themselves.
Just when you think you know which way they are going to fly, they head in the opposite direction.
Well, at least life with Gemini cannot be called boring.
Prepare for excitement, for rapid movement — and develop your ability to listen.
This child will always be busy, practically never still, and will always have something to tell you — sometimes much more than you want to hear.
As soon as the “verbal explosion” begins (and it will probably happen early), this little one will tell you this… and this… — and whatever else there is to tell!
Gemini is a lively, noisy, witty, and bright child.
Give them plenty of space to move and lots to keep them occupied.
However, do not expect them to stick to one task for long.
Patience is not a strong trait of Gemini; boredom sets in easily.
Usually, Gemini children are versatile and multi-skilled, so do not be surprised if your child shows the ability to do several things at once.
This restless nature may indeed allow them to watch a TV show, listen to music, read a book, carry on a conversation, and throw a ball to the dog all at the same time — without missing a beat, even if it drives you crazy.
Patience must become YOUR strong trait.
A Gemini child can grow into a person who starts many things but finishes nothing if allowed to scatter their efforts too much.
You must learn to redirect their attention to a new aspect of the existing task or sustain their interest in the work long enough to see results.
If your life and your child’s environment are unstable, they will cope well with it.
Indeed, Gemini usually thrives on change, adapts easily to new situations, and readily makes new friends.
Give your little “bird” a bright mobile above the crib and plenty of plastic toys with moving parts — this will speed up early hand development, and as they grow, manual dexterity will turn into good mechanical skills.
Provide them with plenty of books and varied activities to occupy their mind, and help satisfy their lively curiosity: they want to know about everything.
Do not expect this child to remember a promise to do something or to arrive on time.
You may try tying a bright ribbon around one of their tiny fingers as a reminder or leaving notes when they learn to read (which will probably happen very early if you give them half a chance).
Treat your little Gemini as a breath of fresh air rushing into your life.
Let them blow freely and lift you up.
You will laugh plenty and learn a lot together!

### Indubala. Planets in Signs. (Indian Tradition)
Gemini is a positive, “air” sign, ruled by the intelligent Mercury, symbolized by a pair of lovers.
Naturally, those with the Sun in this sign are cheerful, creative people who love and have literary or communication talents.
They are adept at working with their hands and enjoy doing more than one thing at a time.
These people are sociable, friendly, and polite.
They are usually quick, expressive, and excitable; but since Gemini is a dual sign, their moods tend to fluctuate.
They perform well where interaction between people is required.
They may be seized by excessive enthusiasm, which can lead to exhaustion, and sometimes suffer from nervous disorders.
They want to know about everything; they are interesting conversationalists but sometimes interfere in others’ affairs.
They highly value well-informed people.
They love reading and writing and are easily influenced by others.
People with the Sun in Gemini know a lot, speak multiple languages.
They are shy and tend to adapt to situations.
They are capable of earning money and managing it well.
They have an eye for gems and are skilled in matters of love.
You will find them busy with work involving facts and figures.
They are dexterous, well-educated, skeptical, and make good critics.
They are interested in astrology, medicine, and other sciences.
In their dealings with others, they are generous and polite.
The qualities of Mercury are bestowed upon them: their abilities are many, they can act quickly, are intelligent, and have good memory.

### Pavlo Globa. Planets in the Signs of the Zodiac
Sun in GeminiThe Sun enters Gemini on May 20 and exits on June 22, a wonderful pattern. The ingress of planets should be calculated using Ephemeris tables. Those born on the cusp of Taurus and Gemini do not enjoy being torn between two signs—feet in Taurus, hands pulled by Gemini. Yet, the most enigmatic and mysterious natures are always born on the cusp, those who manage to combine both. If you read publications by the author of *Science and Religion* about I. Stalin, you may have encountered a person born on the cusp of two signs.
If you were born under the sign of Gemini, the primary expression of the element Air will shape your personality. Gemini is the first air sign. Here, Air is the firstborn, unsettled, wavering, and mutable. Another key factor forming the Gemini archetype is the vibrations of the planet Mercury. The element of Air in Gemini is, above all, an insatiable desire for communication, connections with others, and engagement with information. Geminis need information like bread. When they lack it, they grow bored, their faces fall, and they seek new sources until they find one—only then do they feel at ease. Thus, sociability is their primary archetypal trait. They are driven to establish connections and gather information to wield it. From Mercury, Geminis inherit nimble minds and the ability to grasp things quickly, perfectly complementing the expression of Air in this sign.
You will not find solitary people, introverts, or homebodies among Geminis. They are restless, constantly in motion, seeking new acquaintances and connections at all levels. If we speak of the image of a person with connections, it is, of course, the Mercury-ruled Gemini. They delight in pedagogy—once they receive information, they must share it. Many journalists are Geminis, as journalism falls under this sign. To meet a typical Gemini, simply meet any typical journalist.
Among artists, A. Conan Doyle stands out. Geminis possess brilliance, and his books are filled with lightness and refinement, so easy to read. Pushkin was also a Gemini—what divine ease in every one of his verses! This stems from the deep essential structures of the Gemini archetype. Geminis crave attention, though not in the way Aries does. Aries literally suffers from a lack of attention. Geminis seek attention to obtain or share information—it is a mental, intellectual concern. Hence, they are perpetually engaged in communication. They make excellent merchants, traveling salespeople, and advertising specialists.
The negative expression of the Gemini archetype includes chatter (a low Gemini may talk nonsense), a tendency toward gossip, and restlessness. They are so overwhelmed by information and contacts that they scatter in different directions, striving to grasp the ungraspable in the mental and intellectual realm. Another serious flaw is superficiality, as they cannot fully absorb the deluge of information. A typical erudite is a Gemini—knowing much but not deeply. Sometimes, it becomes uncomfortable in the company of Geminis; when conversing with such an erudite, you may develop an inferiority complex.
In love, Geminis behave strangely. Often, they have many families (multiple wives or husbands), and more often, they do not even bother with marriage. They are primarily interested in the mental plane—simply wanting to talk to someone. Unfortunately, this often manifests grotesquely in women: they want to talk to someone who shows no interest, resorting to feminine wiles, even to the point of entering into intimate relations.
Among Gemini men, there are many typical Don Juans—they enjoy conversing with all women, learning about them, their thoughts, and the more they learn, the more they value themselves. In a vulgar form, this is a sexual aggressor compiling a catalog and showing it to everyone.
As for countries under the sign of Gemini, the United States stands out. There are no more mobile, sociable, friendly, and easy-to-connect-with people in the world than Americans. Another example is Romania, where everything is done quickly and easily.
Het Monster. Planets in the Signs of the Zodiac
May 22 – June 21. GEMINI
A restless soul burning with the thirst for action. New ideas and plans constantly arise; they must always go somewhere, make calls, talk to someone about their plans—or they grow sad and may fall into depression. Nervous by nature, they are free and “light” in communication, perpetually chasing the elusive. They pursue only what interests them thoroughly and systematically. They are particularly drawn to politics, thinking deeply about political and abstract matters, though they rarely achieve success in practical terms—either directing efforts in a consciously hopeless direction or chasing two hares at once. They eagerly engage in speculation, though for them, it is a mental game rather than a means of making money (which rarely succeeds). They succeed in professions requiring mobility and mental agility (journalists, translators), often combining several such activities.
With Saturn in Gemini, they become meticulous, stern officials (HR specialists, accountants); if several planets gather in Gemini or Mercury is strong, these traits intensify. A Gemini is typically an urbanite, a sociable person, but easily stressed. Their constant busyness helps them overcome difficult moments in life but exhausts those around them.
Castor and Pollux
Gemini is a “double” sign, symbolizing the twin brothers Castor and Pollux (Polydeuces), sons of the same mother (Leda) but different fathers: the mortal Tyndareus and the immortal Zeus. According to legend, when Castor died, Polydeuces begged Zeus to allow him to share immortality with his brother, and from then on, they were inseparable, spending one day on Olympus and the next in the realm of the dead. Astrologers accordingly distinguish two types of people—”Geminis”—and mixed types where spiritual and material principles alternate in dominance.
The immortal Pollux dwells in the empyrean. Art, reason, and intellect prevail in him. Emotions and passions are sharply restrained by intellect. He shows little interest in physical life. In marriage, spiritual connection is more important than sexual. A lack of appetite is characteristic.
The mortal Castor: a person of moods, fond of travel, entertainment, and the everyday. Passionate and emotional, a woman may be a “seductress.” Geminis are physically resilient—”two-hearted”—but emotionally labile: boredom or fatigue quickly worsens their physical state. In such cases, yoga, tennis, walking, or cycling are recommended. A full night’s sleep is essential. Coffee and other stimulants are contraindicated. A few drops of valerian at night are beneficial, as are evening walks. In general, walks and short trips are especially useful, as Geminis often have unpredictable reactions to medications and therapies. Homeopathic phosphorus and thyme are also helpful.

GEMINI. Ruler Mercury. Leading Gemini.
The human of Gemini. The lower octave of Gemini is represented by a chatterbox and a gossip who transmits trivial information for selfish purposes. The gossip is characterized by an extremely narrow storyline, where only 3-4 rigid schemes are allowed; going beyond them is forbidden by public opinion, which, in turn, holds great significance for Gemini. For Geminis live in the environment of mental forms, their own and those created by various groups and strata, where they circulate and play an important role. Due to the specificity of this role, it is very easy for Geminis to intuitively determine the appropriateness or inappropriateness of a particular thought or message within a given social circle, but it is equally difficult to determine its truthfulness, i.e., correspondence to reality. Therefore, Geminis often mistake the former for the latter (naive version) or consciously limit their role to purely intermediary functions, never delving deeply into the essence of what is happening. A typical positive example is a brilliant manager without an engineering education in industrial production.
A deeper study of the sign of Gemini enables the creation of mental forms that model reality, i.e., what in mathematics is called structures. A higher level of Gemini leads to the ability to operate with these structures, i.e., to the creation of languages of mental constructions (formal languages). The most abstract examples include mathematics, programming languages, and automated databases, while train schedules and card indexes are familiar to everyone. Therefore, Geminis have great abilities in natural languages, but these are considered merely as a means of transmitting information; the “juiciness” of language, stylistic nuances are usually either ignored or poorly executed.
Geminis easily learn a set of key words and expressions of any jargon, but its intonation will be difficult for them; however, in terms of the volume of information and erudition in any factual area (i.e., information perceived identically by everyone), no other zodiac sign can compare with them. For Geminis (in the creative zone!), it is very difficult to have their own opinion. They are subject to the information flow passing through them; in other words, they think exactly what they say and believe everything they hear and especially read. Then they read something contradictory and believe that too—but this does not disturb them much: due to the contradictions in their nature, they will easily agree with that as well; they do not dwell on it, they have no time for it.
If Geminis argue with you (and they love to do so), they will easily (especially if you are Aries, Leo, or Cancer) drive you to despair. First, their erudition and well-hung tongue will overwhelm you. Second, they do not listen to you; they respond formally, not substantively. And third, what is worst, they express not their own opinion (which they do not have), but the opinion of a certain social circle or something taken from who knows where. Therefore, in those rare cases when you manage, with incredible effort, to talk Geminis out of their position, they are not in the least upset, which can sometimes drive you mad.
The problem of Geminis is that they can very easily imagine (i.e., mentally model) anything, including emotions. Energy flows and even chakras are mentally modeled, but these are still not real flows and false chakras, and Geminis forget about this (or sometimes do not even suspect it). On the other hand, a sufficiently subtle and differentiated model, even if composed of dead elements (say, mathematical points), begins to live its own life, sometimes even resembling the original in some way, and then it is a great fortune for Geminis; they should only learn the subtleties of modeling and precisely defining the boundaries of their model’s application, i.e., the limits beyond which it no longer reflects reality—but this is extremely difficult for them, because for them reality is perceived precisely through mental models (schemes) that are understandable to them, and a detailed model, moreover one constructed by themselves, is already the Absolute!
In psychological terms, Geminis (and Aquarius) are the coldest signs of the Zodiac. At the same time, Geminis can be very observant and even caring, but within the framework of a specific (and necessarily concrete) sign system they know (i.e., they can notice everything that can be described in precise words: “drooping corners of the lips,” but not “a gloomy expression of the mouth”). However, this outward coldness should not be confused with a lack of soul, which in a person with active Geminis is no worse than in other members of the human race; Geminis perceive the world and express themselves through a strong mental filter.
Geminis are more adaptable than any other sign, except perhaps Pisces (mutable cross). They can talk to anyone about anything and always find a way to convey the necessary information; but here lies their Achilles’ heel—they get bogged down in details. Sometimes a big problem cannot be avoided by breaking it down into a dozen smaller ones.
The higher octave of Geminis is a person who engages in philosophy in the true sense of the word—both existential and constructive—whose models of large fragments of the world are subtle and accessible for review, and the language in which they are created is alive.
The influence of Mercury as the ruler of Gemini manifests in the exceptional mobility of their mind and the ease of transmitting information (Mercury is the messenger of the gods on Olympus) in all directions; unlike Libra, Geminis are alien to caste and elitism. At the same time, Mercury does not allow them to concentrate and see beyond the flat mental form to something deeper, and beyond that, a hint of essence. On the other hand, the depth of Geminis’ penetration into reality is determined not only by the subtlety and complexity of the mental construct but also by the level of direct sensation of its constituent elements, which is completely alien to Mercury, who resembles more a courier than an attentive mother.
The confinement of Jupiter in Gemini is expressed in the abundance and chaotic nature of their information flows. Geminis try their best, contrary to the classics, to grasp the ungraspable, at least to think it through from all sides; Geminis are not strangers to admiration for “How smart he is, how much he knows!” and they find it difficult to understand that true knowledge is, first and foremost, skill. On the other hand, Jupiter gives Geminis the ability to look at things broadly and from a single perspective, i.e., a philosophical direction that can synthesize their mental chaos.
The combination of Mercury’s rulership with Jupiter’s confinement gives Geminis a unique brilliance, which sometimes even makes one squint.
The situation of Geminis is often accompanied by terrible fuss and noise, when everyone speaks at once and no one hears the others, so they try to shout louder, which somehow does not improve audibility. Another typical situation for Geminis is a poor lecture, where the lecturer, unable to inspire enthusiasm in the audience, tries at least to convey certain information to them.
A more constructive version of the Geminis’ situation is a group of scientists trying to build a model that describes scattered empirical material. This also includes all kinds of calm, cold, “unemotional” discussions about future plans, forecasting, and analyzing options, etc., and, of course, all kinds of combinatorial games: draughts, backgammon, backgammon, and goose.
Whenever you say to your interlocutor, “Just think,” or “Imagine that,” you are inviting them to activate their Geminis.
Geminis are the main sign of the entire modern Western civilization.
The natural position of solar Geminis is deputy head of organizational work; the level of the head’s position is determined by the evolutionary level of the Geminis. If we speak more seriously, the Sun always poses the problem of the sign strictly, and Gemini defines their fate within the following alternative: either they become aware of the informational-mental flow coming to them (partially) and learn to manage it, or they fall entirely under its power. It must be said that comprehending the Gemini flow is significantly more difficult than, say, the Aries one, since thought is subtler and more fleeting than energy. Here, the difficulty lies in detecting a certain pattern in mental situations and sorting out informational flows from a higher perspective (best of all, a spiritual-moral one; here, a sharpened Jupiter helps, while an overly hasty and concrete Mercury hinders—from which it is sometimes better to distance oneself) and understanding what, in fact, is expected of you and in what (and how) order should be established. In a sense, the task of Geminis is substantially more complex than that of the average Aries or Taurus, since thought is a more subtle matter than energy and dense form. On the other hand, Geminis must impose order and manage by relying on mental models of reality that are rough, i.e., inadequate, yet accessible for observation and, in skilled hands, a flexible and obedient tool. The danger here is that the tool may turn out to be too flexible and too obedient, instantly becoming the center of attention for Geminis, who then forget about the world they are meant to serve and resort to empty pleasures of an already hopelessly chaotic informational flow, in which they ultimately dissolve. This signifies spirituality, quickness of thought and action, and a lack of conventionality. The character is elusive, adaptable, curious with a temperamental disposition, irritable and capricious (like adolescents). They are so mobile and fast that they may become superficial, as they do not have time to process what they perceive. Very sociable, they are interested in everything, quickly orient themselves, read a lot, and are always ready for new experiences, with linguistic abilities. They possess oratorical skills, enjoy speaking, but cannot listen, grasping only the essence while ignoring the rest. They do not get bored—they simply have no time for it. They dislike solitude, hence many contacts. They easily make acquaintances with different people, always having something to say, though their stories are only half-true. If they make a mistake, they quickly extricate themselves. They consider themselves indispensable and can occupy society for hours; wherever they appear, peace ends. When real problems arise, they become scattered. Order is not their strong suit—they constantly search for their belongings, which always vanish at the most crucial moment. They are highly inclined to mimic others, good at parody, quickly recognizing weaknesses and humorous sides in others and using this in life. They are very modern, following trends in everything imaginable. They enjoy gossiping. Yet at the same time, they know how to support and offer help to those lost in life.
Diligent but not always seeing things through, as new ideas distract them. They love to travel, preferring to experience everything at once—mountains, sea, and forest rather than just one thing. They are best suited to professions involving mediation, gathering and transmitting diverse information, searching for and implementing various inventions, talents, and ideas, whether their own or others’. They make good translators, commentators, and merchants.
They are very romantic, especially if partners are serious or mysterious. In love, they easily say “yes,” marry quickly, often for the ceremony and honeymoon itself, and just as easily and quickly divorce. They are prone to affairs because they seek an ideal partner and are highly curious. It is difficult to love them, as they themselves have little capacity for love but want to be loved. In marriage, they play an active role, enjoy hosting and attending gatherings. For a shared life, it is better if they and their partner share work or interests.
Troubles in life may arise from absentmindedness, superficiality, and financial disorder, with excessive spending causing harm. They rarely have true friends or partners. They must consciously train concentration and learn to hold their tongue. A state of constant alertness deprives them of spiritual and physical peace. They need to learn self-discipline and respect conventions, as these are key to cooperation with others. If they overcome their flaws, their remarkable abilities will lead to great achievements.
Insecurity breeds neurasthenia in illness. They are prone to lung, bronchial, respiratory, and nervous system diseases. In many ways, you are an eternal child. Your intellect is receptive, somewhat changeable, flexible, full of curiosity, and playful. You always crave novelty and often cannot focus for long. You quickly grasp ideas but once initial interest is satisfied, you are drawn to something else. You need frequent changes, variety, new situations, and encounters with new people. Your many interests hinder you from recognizing your true talents and what you should truly be doing. You reject the very idea of self-restraint and focusing on one thing. Your curiosity and worries plunge you into countless new life situations, and you want to experience everything in the world.
Doing the same thing repeatedly, even successfully, is difficult and boring for you. To a large extent, you “live in your head”: reading, observing, thinking, “digesting” ideas; you can live without intellectual stimulation. Strangely enough, if forced to choose between a good book or film and a good meal, you would likely prefer the former. You have a creative mind and often sustain yourself through the sharpness of your intellect. As a communicative, sociable person with a strong need for interaction, you enjoy joking and playing with words. You have a true sense of style and talent for conveying ideas in an engaging, clear manner—the essence of a writer’s, lecturer’s, or speaker’s gift. Your humor is light and playful, but you often lack seriousness. Though you deeply need emotional responsibility and reciprocity, you struggle to achieve it, as you resist taking on burdens, limiting your personal freedom, or confining yourself to one place or task.
Happiness in your life is tied to using your creative abilities and talent with words. Your intellect is not one-sided; you can offer fresh, clear, and unconventional solutions or research directions. Your flaw is a lack of consistency and persistence. Additionally, you tend to overlook or ignore the emotional problems and feelings of others.
