Sun in Libra
Sun in Libra Symbol is my dove of peace, Harmony is everything to me. I strive to make life beautiful — I fear giving away as if it were fire. Only balance must be maintained in the scales, and it must be preserved everywhere.
The little white dove carries the scales and tells you that the most important thing is peace and harmony. Your child hates disorder, conflicts, and any kind of disputes and will do everything to avoid them, sometimes resorting to compromise and yielding rather than defending their rights or point of view. However, this should not be seen as weakness. It is merely tact. But if the strong sense of justice of a Libra is offended, you will see how energetic and combative this sign can be! People of the Libra type have long been known as diplomats — but also as excellent generals!
However, a Libra child — or teenager — is unlikely to openly argue with you on any issue important to them. This child will politely listen and may even do what you want, as long as it does not seriously violate their personal preferences. But young Libras have their own individual thoughts and form their own opinions, so do not be too surprised if this sweet child, whom you thought agreed with you, eventually chooses a different path of thought and action.
The concept of justice is very important. Like the scales of their symbol, your child believes in equality and adherence to the rules of the game or the laws of the country. If Libra is involved in or witnesses a conflict, they will try to play the role of a mediator — a role that suits them well due to their innate ability to see both sides of an issue and seek a point of balance. But do not expect them to take your side if “your side” is not scrupulously fair.
The search for balance can manifest as a particular indecisiveness when faced with two equally attractive options. Your Libra child wants to “have their cake and eat it too.” This child may hesitate between two decisions until your patience wears thin. If the child is very young, it is better to avoid unnecessary choices. Simply observe whether a particular choice makes the child happy, and if so, there is no need to burden them with two options.
A school-age child is more likely to catch the right bus if you insist they choose and pack their clothes and everything they need for the next school day. They may ask for your opinion when choosing between two options — pick one for them. (They may later choose the other, but that is fine. At least you will reduce the agonizing indecision before making a decision.)
Speaking of school supplies: appearance is very important to Libras. This refined child pays great attention to aesthetics. They will enjoy looking good and being surrounded by beautiful things. For this reason, they will find it difficult to save pocket money if they have their eye on something pretty. Their taste for beauty also means that Libras will enjoy artistic pursuits. You should encourage this child in any form of art or music, as they are likely to develop a passion for one or more of them and achieve noticeable skill, along with a refined appreciation.
Friends will always be important to Libras. Typically, such a child does not prefer solitude. More likely, they have a higher-than-average need to be with others, to be part of a group, but also to have one or two special friends with whom they can share almost everything. Libra is the sign of partnership, and such a person is unlikely to be able to do without a companion for long. You will likely find great pleasure in taking this child with you during their childhood years or being invited to keep them company in the future. They will be warm-hearted, well-mannered, charming, attractive, and likely beloved by people of all ages.

Libra is an “air” sign, depicted as balanced scales; it is governed by the sensual Venus. As an “air” sign, it gives these people an interest in philosophy and also indicates their ability to balance the spiritual and material in their lives. They are gifted with skills in buying and selling; this sign is also associated with impartiality in human relationships. They often become enthusiastic about projects that benefit many people rather than just themselves.
Governed by Venus, which points to wives and women, they are usually married or work as assistants or partners. Acting on their own or pursuing personal interests, they usually do less well. The Sun is weakened in Libra, and so these people may suffer from weak eyesight, heart disease, frequent headaches, and weak digestion. They are prone to overindulgence in toxic substances, can be somewhat arrogant, proud, and inclined toward dissipation. They seek peaceful, harmonious situations. They have good taste, are kind-hearted, not inclined to violence, compassionate toward others, and drawn to refined people or those of high social standing. They are impartial, with a developed sense of justice. Others sometimes find it difficult to understand the motives behind their behavior. They can excellently weigh one thing against another and are sincere in their assessments. They are usually opposed to authority; they are interested in global political events. They should be cautious in the company of low-level people and when dealing with harmful products. They enjoy travel and may be involved in businesses related to jewelry and other things that appeal to the senses. They need to develop inner strength and resilience.

Libra is the third sign of the stability zone, an Air sign in its stabilized expression. Its main rulers are Chiron and Venus. Libra is the second level of the Air element, which is more stable here. For you, the pursuit of stability, comfort, and balance is common. You are naturally drawn to beauty in all its forms. Libra is the most aesthetic sign of the entire Zodiac; you cannot tolerate conflicts, quarrels, or clashes and always strive to eliminate them. Your motto is the call, “Guys, let’s live in peace!” You typically succeed in endeavors where good taste, artistry, a developed and rich imagination are required, which is why among Libras we find many famous artists, poets, and writers. Libras have included: Watteau, Bouguereau, Rimbaud, Saint-Saëns, and I. Bunin. You always strive to choose a certain circle, an elite. And when faced with differing opinions, if you cannot balance them, you side with the smarter one, or in the worst case, with the winner. Therefore, in life, you can easily betray people you communicate with. It has been noted that among traitors, there is a high percentage of Libras. Among Libras, there are also many courtesans and women of loose morals. However, astrologers note that recently these ranks have been replenished mainly by Cancer women. There are few military figures among Libras, but some have appeared: for example, Admiral Nelson and General Eisenhower. You perfectly understand the laws, feel them, and strive to follow them. Among Libras, there are many legal professionals: prosecutors and lawyers (personalities: F. Plevako). The higher level of Libras includes talented diplomats; diplomacy in Libra comes from Chiron. For you, the embodiment of stability is harmony, so you seek harmony in everything. The country of Libra is England, which is why this sign is so closely and intimately connected with the English nation. Among Libras, there are many politicians who can sit on two chairs at once, or in the worst case, who can pit two sides against each other to gain some benefit from this enmity. “The Iron Lady,” Margaret Thatcher, Wilson, and Richard III are also Libras. Once again, we emphasize that the lower level of Libras consists of traitors. The spectrum of Libra’s expression is very broad; Libras have included Yesenin, Lermontov, and Paul I. A major challenge for you is developing your creative potential. This involves the subtle use of your inner energy and the ability not to be cold. The fact is that Libras can be the coldest sign of the Zodiac, as it is the only sign represented by a symbol taken from inanimate nature—cold, metallic Libras. Your karmic task is to be refined, “pharmaceutical” Libras. Under no circumstances should you allow “the scales’ beam to rust,” otherwise you will not be able to balance the situation; you must engage with it very subtly. Only by analyzing its essence can you step into the situation and help people achieve harmony.

September 24 – October 23. LIBRA
A Libra person: refined, delicate, subtle. The slightest unpleasantness or quarrel throws them off balance. They spend their entire life preserving and restoring this balance. They want to love and be loved; they feel good only in an atmosphere of sympathy. In an atmosphere of indifference, they become melancholic and may fall ill. They tend to yield to others’ opinions and are the first to make peace in an argument. They buy rare, exquisite trinkets and give them to their loved ones or even strangers. They avoid complex problems. The struggle for a place in the sun, violence, and aggression are alien to them, especially if Mars or Uranus are not prominently expressed in their horoscope. They dislike solving material problems and try to live without much effort. Fortunately, their taste and decorating abilities usually earn them the love of others, who help them, including financially. If the horoscope is generally favorable, they can achieve significant success in art—design, fashion. They need a practical partner who would take care of the material security of their life. In love, they are usually happy. If they remain alone, they feel abandoned and deeply unhappy, especially if Saturn is in a difficult aspect to the Moon or Venus. However, Libras are rarely alone. Overall, Libras are delicate, neat, and sensitive people. The slightest offense or rudeness can make them ill. Libras are advised to drink more fluids during rest hours, to have “apple days” (kidney drainage). Among the elements, sulfur and phosphorus are recommended. Basil is among the herbs. Oily or “impure” skin is common (a decoction of mallow and coltsfoot). Toning baths with thyme, rosemary, and basil are beneficial. Walks, gardening, and dancing are useful. Libras need an atmosphere of warmth and affection, as well as sexual balance (a satisfying partner).

Libra. Venus is the ruler. Responsible Libra.
When shifting from the zone of creation into the zone of its formalization, the emphasis moves from the function of connection, typical of Gemini, to the emphasis on the function of structure, to which Libra is constantly directed. Structure is a set of connections between elements, thanks to which they transform from a chaotic set into a qualitatively new object—a unified whole. Therefore, for Libra (unlike Gemini), the nature of the elements is by no means indifferent, since elements of different origins must be connected into a single whole in different ways. Moreover, Libra also monitors the quantity and relationships of the various connections that form the structure.
Libra is an extremely difficult sign to understand and describe. They embody contradictions and, at the same time, inexplicably balance not only them but also the most dramatic external situations. On the one hand, Libra is a cardinal masculine sign—decisive and active—while on the other, it is governed by the feminine planet Venus. On the one hand, they belong to the cold air element, and on the other, they embody the existential (and by no means merely mental) principle of equilibrium, beauty, and harmony, which is incomprehensible in itself.
Libra is the only inanimate sign of the Zodiac (the rest are people and animals), and they symbolize the impersonal Absolute directly. The main principle of harmony and equilibrium, which unfolds for a person gradually, as their evolutionary development and expansion of consciousness progress.
Libra symbolizes not static but dynamic equilibrium: a cyclist on a steep turn, an adiabatic expansion of steam, ecological processes during the extinction or emergence of new species. As formalized air, Libra is granted not a mental (as in Gemini) but rather a higher, equilibrium-structural-integral perception of the world. High Libra individuals see both the object and its constituent elements and the connections between them as parts of a necessary and balanced structure that separates the object from the world while simultaneously connecting it to it.
A person cannot grasp harmony rationally, but Libra points them toward one of the paths to its attainment: through the search for inner equilibrium of the object, considered as a system with a complex structure of relationships between elements.
The Libra person. Representing air in the zone of formalization, Libra is well aware of their element and will not waste time on trifles. Unlike Gemini, they will not introduce anyone to anyone indiscriminately or pass on information without first determining their attitude toward it. Libra is characterized by a somewhat detached, cold beauty and an aesthetic-equilibrium perspective, an approach to all matters—especially social ones—far more aristocratic than Gemini’s democratic tendencies.
A vivid example of Libra is the aesthete-intellectual from the upper echelons of society, an adherent of the concept of “art for art’s sake,” and the view that each social stratum consumes (and produces) its own culture, inaccessible and unnecessary to others. Of course, remaining a cardinal air sign, Libra (if they wish and deem it necessary) can easily transition into a different social stratum and perfectly understand everything that happens there, but they themselves and those around them will always feel the alien nature of Libra.
Libra is extremely prone to intellectual and aesthetic snobbery (its deep foundation lies in their proximity to the Absolute, though Libra themselves may not formulate it this way), which serves as an effective means of protection against the feeling of superficiality. The fact is that Libra lacks the immediate (essential) sense of life that is inherent in feminine signs (especially earth signs); Libra relies on an exceptionally subtle perception of the world, and if they fail to demonstrate this subtlety, they begin to feel flat, secondary, and unoriginal.
Where the thick-skinned Taurus has long since (and substantially for themselves) understood what is essential, Libra must spend a long time tuning in, hesitating, observing, and evaluating from different angles until they sense a certain subtle harmony in a given situation (which may be completely inaccessible to the average Taurus). Only then do they feel confident in their place. (Most often, this is the collective subconscious of their social stratum, expressed in the words of a sufficiently authoritative figure for this type of person), becoming secondary Libras, whose personal sense of beauty, justice, and harmony is replaced by societal norms. Sometimes, even a glass bell jar is desirable.
These conditions primarily apply to the social stratum in which Libra resides: and Libra can break. Beauty and harmony; however, this must be understood correctly. By the subtle Libras, after which they will see its true (at the level of participants) disharmony in its subtle balancing and harmonization. The key here is that before influencing, they need to immerse themselves in the situation and carefully assess and weigh everything.
For Libra, the ability to weigh and pay attention is incomparably more significant than for other zodiac signs; it largely defines their ethics. Libra considers what seems beautiful to them as good and correct, and what appears ugly and repulsive as bad and immoral.
The middle octave is represented by the exquisitely beautiful and outwardly brilliant, well-mannered but internally cold and indifferent hostess of a fashionable salon, for whom a person is valuable only to the extent that they will adorn her home (and she knows this value very precisely, despite the fluctuations of fashion). She maintains the structure.
It is difficult to refuse when a beautiful woman (or man) asks you. Here, Libra’s equilibrium should be represented not as unstable apothecary scales but as a ball at the bottom of a deep depression: if you nudge it slightly to the side, it immediately returns to its place.
The Libra machine of justice, and even censorship, vigilantly monitors the balance of sorrow and joy in the lyrical verses of poets living in an era of societal prosperity.
Libra acts through light influences, executed with Venusian grace and ease; they are sensitive to any injustice that demands immediate expression. However, to restore justice and create harmony, one must first sense the situation subtly (which always requires time and effort) and only then seek adequate and often quite delicate ways to influence it. Both work is laborious, and instead of restoring equilibrium, it is often brutally violated, and after some time, by the law of reflection, a backlash occurs, resulting in a situation even more disharmonious than the original.
Somewhat abstractly. The culminating Saturn symbolizes the backbone of developed Libra, endowing them with stability and wisdom in solving the problem of achieving harmony in specific situations.
The lower octave is extremely prone to. Unprocessed Libra can cause strong irritation by avoiding the resolution of a specific problem through endless consideration of it from countless unrelated points of view.
Imprisonment; only in the higher octave of Libra is the full harmonious development of the principles of these planets achieved. (Often sincerely) they pass off their own opinions as someone else’s. Convictions and initiatives are unstable, personal will is weak, but easily aligns with the collective, and then it becomes difficult to sway or convince the person—primarily because it is a futile endeavor, as the lower Libra still poorly develops their own personal opinion and will.
The necessity (and comparative ease) of carefully tuning into their karmic egregore (rather than the situation or social stratum, as in lower and middle Libra) which (as much as possible) will precisely indicate what and how needs to be done in a given situation and where the boundaries of free will lie—here, as in Aries, processing the symbolic Sun means awareness of attention; the fall of the Sun makes this task easier for Libra than when the Sun culminates.
The Libra situation often has the key word “justice” or its pursuit. It clarifies the resolution of the picture by seeking equilibrium in the arrangement of forms and colors.
The ability to assess a situation through quantitative indicators (say, the average weight gain of a pioneer in a camp over a month) is rare but vividly expressed in consciousness and therefore replaces the previous type; it is more related to Mercury and Virgo.
Karmic tasks, whose manifestations we see only in imperfect models. Complex karmic tasks, the fulfillment of which is possible only with maximum detachment from personal will, symbolized by the fall of the Sun. This position of the Sun means that the will of the egregore governing the situation in which the person finds themselves is directly transmitted through them.
“Sacred.”
Through processing, a fine sense of correct actions gradually emerges (as if something pushes the person from within) in the most complex and tense situations, and it works better the more attentive the person is to the situation and the less personally invested they are in it, consciously and subconsciously.
In defeat, a tendency toward socially inappropriate actions when attempting to balance complex situations.
